Going on a trip to Pokhara would be the best idea whether on a Plane , Bus or a Bike. All of them carries best trip and Scenario in its own.

But, I prefer to rent a vehicle or a bike depending upon the numbers of the travellers. Driving on the road with great scenario is a fine experience in itself. You not only get the freedom to stop at any scenic location of your choice, but also get chance to explore its uniqueness in a holistic way. I have mentioned some of the best places below.
Travel day 1 Kathmandu to Bandipur.
With distance of 148 km between Kathmandu and Bandipur, The Prithivi Highway is only a way to Bandipur.

Drive along the Prithivi Highway you will mesmerised by the beautiful river and hill on the right side. On the way to Bandipur. you must try the fresh fish from Malekhu. Malekhu fresh fish ( मलेखुको माछा ) is famous and loved by all the travellers. Getting back to road trip, going straight towards Bandipur you will reach Mugling.Mugling is also known as junction where Pritivi highway and Narayanghat highway breaks, Taking right turn from Mugling and go along Prithivi highway.
On the way to Bandipur, 2 km before Khaireni Bazar there’s a small waterfall on the left side of the highway. After having small break at waterfall spot you head for Bandipur which is an ideal place for hiking along with the beautiful trails that take you through tribal villages, verdant forests, and hilltop shrines. where you can visit the Sidhha cave which is Largest cave in Nepal and second largest cave in the South Asia.
